This page is where I will list my favourite couples and talk about why I like them. Pairing people up is fun, but I don't take it too seriously. I think shipping wars are silly and people just need to relax and get along, regardless of who they ship. I'm a very open minded shipper myself and am partial to a lot of them.

Pokéshipping (Satoshi x Kasumi)

Well, Kasumi was the first ever girl Satoshi travelled with, and I think it's pretty obvious Kasumi had some feelings for Satoshi, though he would never realise it by himself. 4Kids made up a lot of hints by themselves though and it's a bit annoying. Misty's Song did not exist in Japan. However, the Lugia movie's Japanese ending song, toi et moi, seems to suggest she has feelings for him. I think we all know she wasn't just following him for the bike.

I loved how they used to argue all the time, but at the same time, they were still close friends. Satoshi would tease her, Kasumi would get annoyed. They really had an entertaining relationship that was fun to watch. Though, they have both matured in their own ways so it's not really the same anymore. Plus, Kasumi hasn't travelled with him since Jouto and it's very unlikely she ever will again.

Advanceshipping (Satoshi x Haruka)

I also liked the relationship these two had together. Satoshi was like a mentor to Haruka and helped her out a few times, and she even adopted his battle style for her contests, though this did come back to bite her in the butt in the Kanto Grand Festival. They had some cute moments together as well. Also, at the end of Advance Generation, they even split a ribbon between themselves after winning an unofficial contest. The ribbon was seen again when Haruka visited Shinou, and she even said her ribbon half gave her confidence to win her contests because it reminded her of Satoshi.

Pearlshipping (Satoshi x Hikari)

This seems like it could be a cute pairing. The two get along very well, though they have their arguments once or twice, and they are always high fiving each other and such.There's also the opening song "High Touch", which is sung by both of them and it has plenty of hints.

Teencareshipping (Takeshi x Honoka)

Honoka was Takeshi's partner in the Yosuga City Tag Battle Tournament. Takeshi of course attempted to flirt with her at first sight, but she quickly shot him down before Greggle even had a chance to jab him. However, as Takeshi showed off his battle prowess in the Tag Battle, she quickly became attracted to him, even going so far as to make heart eyes at him. At one point, she appeared to be jealous of Nurse Joy when Takeshi was talking to her.

Unfortunately for Takeshi, Honoka was so upset by their loss and blamed herself, leaving without even saying goodbye and swearing to become a better and stronger partner. Takeshi was sad that a woman who liked him left... but maybe she'll appear again. Kouhei did, after all. Takeshi needs to get a girl already... and why not someone who actually likes him?

Breedershipping (Takeshi x Yuki)

Yuki was Takeshi's idol, and she even gave him Rokon to take care of. Well, if you can call keeping a Pokémon inside its Poké Ball all the freaking time and only letting it out once in a blue moon taking care of it... anyway, Takeshi really admired her and Yuki obviously liked him too if she gave him her prized Rokon (which she did take back.) However, there was another breeder whom Yuki liked in the second episode she appeared and Takeshi seemed to realise that, but it still seems like a plausible shipping.

Orangeshipping (Kasumi x Kenji)

Kasumi and Kenji have been spending a lot of time together ever since Kasumi went back to the Hanada Gym, as was evident from the Pokémon HoSo episodes. Sakura and Nanako both think Kenji is Kasumi's boyfriend when they first meet the two together as well. The strongest hint would be Kenji giving Kasumi a Luriri egg. Now, wasn't that awfully nice of him?

Cavaliershipping (Shigeru x Hikari)

When Shigeru met Satoshi and co. in Shinou for the first time, he already knew about Hikari from his grandfather. Hikari knows little about Orchid-hakase, other than the fact that he likes to write poetry so she assumes that Shigeru does the same and even asks him for one. When she thinks he said a poem at the end of the episode, she's all happy. Also, she seemed to be more worried about Shigeru than Satoshi when they were battling J and trying to save the Tatetops. In the second Shigeru episode, Hikari's practically fangirling him when he says a poem for them.

Ironically, Shigeru used to have cheerleaders, and Hikari herself used to put on a dress and do some cheering herself. She hasn't done it in a long time though. Lazy girl prefers to have her Pokémon do it for her now...

Rocketshipping (Kojirou x Musashi)

Kojirou is not gay. No, really. These two are obviously the only ones for each other as well. Though, Kojirou doesn't want to marry her, not ever. He would rather die than marry her. I think they will just stay together for the rest of their lives. They've been together since Pokémon Tech (no matter what Pokémon Chronicles tried to tell you) after all.

Eldershipping (Orchid-hakase x Hanako)

Orchid-hakase and Hanako spend quite a lot of time together and even travel with each other sometimes. They have had a tendency to just pop up together wherever Satoshi and his friends might be at times. There may well be something going on. Though, I think this coupling is just slightly iffy. A young mom and an old fart? Come on now... still, I can't help but like the pairing.

Palletshipping (Satoshi x Shigeru)

Shigeru was once Satoshi's rival, but not anymore. He used to tease Satoshi all the time and even had a pet name for him, which he does still use when teasing him. Satoshi obviously did care about him, as proved in the Tokiwa Gym episode where he freaked when seeing Shigeru lying on the floor after getting pwned by Mewtwo. Sadly, since Shigeru went off to be a Pokémon Researcher, he rarely ever appears anymore. I miss Shigeru... oh, and who could forget Shigeru putting his hands down Satoshi's pants? *snicker* ... Okay, so he wasn't really doing that...

Bouldershipping (Satoshi x Takeshi)

Honestly, I'm not sure how this happened. I think it started with cracks about how Takeshi was stalking Satoshi, then it moved on to reading Bouldershipping fics and seeing Bouldershipping art... before I knew it, I'd bought a Bouldershipping doujinshi off eBay. There's just something oddly interesting about this pairing. Anyway, Takeshi's totally stalking Satoshi. That van just happened to pass by him in Shinou by complete coincidence? Also, as far as we know, Satoshi never even told Takeshi he was going to Shinou. Indeed, it's all so very suspicious.

Daddyshipping (Satoshi x Yukinari)

XD I'm sorry. I just can't help it. The idea of this pairing just amuses me to no end, as well as the thought of how Satoshi would react if he realised just who Yukinari was. Also, they were hugging in a tree. HUGGING IN A TREE. How often does Satoshi ever hug anybody? He was so gay for Yukinari...

Brocketshipping (Takeshi x Kojirou)

Heh heh... it all started back in the Maiden's Peak episode. Remember when those two were practically kissing? Good times. Some more recent happenings in Diamond and Pearl involve Kojirou (in disguise) and Takeshi sitting together in the audience. Of course Takeshi never realises who he is. Interesting stuff has happened between them though, like the two holding hands and even hugging each other. They are so made for each other... hahaha.

SanFranciscoshipping (Kojirou x Jun)

This one's more of a joke really, based on the episode when Iron Island was in danger of blowing up. The two were locked together in an embrace of fear. Really. Um... that's it. I did say it was mostly a joke...

Coldcoffeeshipping (Shinji x Jun)

Jun absolutely idolises Shinji, he was going crazy and talking about him all the time and everything when he first appeared. Sadly, when they did finally meet, it was incredibly underwhelming. Jun basically just begged him for a battle and that was about it.

Chestshipping (Kasumi x Kanna)

Kasumi was totally staring at her boobs. She was going ga-ga over her as well. It's even said in the third-gen Kanto games that Kasumi idolises Kanna. Even Game Freak is endorsing this pairing!

Ketchupshipping (Pikachu x Ketchup)

Pikachu's love for ketchup is undeniable. I'm not sure how ketchup feels about Pikachu though.
